God is Dead – Finished
Hmm. I’m not sure what to say, this wasn’t the type of book I’d choose to read, but I read it for a book club.
That said, I will say that I enjoyed a few of the stories, and the writing was very good. But, I admit that I am very glad to be done. I’m pleased with myself that I pushed through, but I cannot recommend this book. I know that some people loved it and felt it was brilliant, right on, I just am not one of you. I was bored through the whole book.
I do have a thought about the idea behind the book. I think it would make a great horror novel! I’m not creative enough to write one, but I hope someone does. There is so much potential with this idea. Maybe someone has already, if so, let me know.
Peace.

God Is Dead by Ron Currie Jr.
Starting this book for a book club. Not normally something I would choose to read, but we shall see.

Great read!
The Vesuvius Isotope by Kristen Elise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
So good! I’m already hooked for the next book coming out next year! Great mystery that spans hundreds of years. Intelligent writing and thorough research really stands out. I highly recommend this book.

Up late
I stay up later and later, or earlier, these days. I sleep late sometimes, but not always. I don’t know what’s up with me. I am going to try reading earlier in the evening and see if maybe that will help me to become groggy sooner. Maybe some chamomile tea? It can’t hurt to try. Let me think, what else is going on… oh I am still, STILL reading A Game of Thrones, and I really am liking it, but my husband keeps telling me to finish it, and see how I feel about it then. It makes me think something is going to happen in it that I may not like, and could cause me to not be willing to read the rest of the books. It’s possible, but I hope not, I need books to read.
Anyway, I guess I’ll start reading now, hopefully I can get to sleep around 0300 or 0330. Crossing my fingers!

Week 4 over
My classes are 9 weeks long, and I just finished my assignments for week 4. I like having all my assignments done early, so it feels like a mini vacation each week. I love to be a slacker! Now I am going to go read some more Blue Moon.

First final done
I finished my first final, and today I am going to take a little break. I have two smaller assignments I can do, and that will be my focus today. I don’t think I could squeeze another paper out of me if I wanted to. Tomorrow is when I scheduled myself to do it, or at least half of it. Ugh..
Deep breath.
Only another 24 hours of humidity and we’ll be back to normal. Yay! I do not understand how people live in humid places, it’s hard to breathe, and I feel like I have this constant sheen of sweat on my skin, but there is nothing there.
After I finish my assignments today, I am going to finish Guilty Pleasures. I’ve been missing reading it, and it’s what I am going to do as a reward for having one final done.
Peace.

What to do – Anniversary Edition
Homework is done, classwork still needs to be done, but I have to wait for some input from my classmates, so what do I do until I go volunteer? Veronica Mars is over, so should I read a book or watch another show? I just can’t decide. I am feeling a little drained, so I think that for now I will check my DVR and figure out what I want to catch up on.
Oh yeah, anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Sweetie! Eight years and we still haven’t killed each other, right on!
